This is a photo story of 26 year old Idamyles: a female boxer from Havana, Cuba. She trains every day at a local gym in Havana to fulfill her dream to represent Cuba in the Japan 2020 Olympics.

This was part of a documentary photography course in Havana, Cuba with photographers Jack Picone and Stephen Dupont (November 2018).

Selected images from this story were featured in the first edition of the Beirut International Image Festival in Beirut, Lebanon (September - October 2019)

This story is dedicated to Idamyles, her fellow boxers and to all the dreamers out there.
